We all love and enjoy multiple Indo-Chinese cuisines. Chilli Bread is itself a unique blend of Indian traditional spicy bread with the lip-smacking Chinese sauces. Dishes from bread are quick and easy to make and is also light on our stomach. Adding the flavourful Chinese sauces and blending them together is not only fulfilling to our taste buds but our satiety too. 







Chilli bread is the combo of spicy crispy bread along with luscious Chinese sauces. Not so time-consuming and everyone's favourite, we are sure, this yummilicious snack is going to be your best friend for a family-friends fiesta.

Just pour a drink of your choice and you are good to go.

Some quick tips for Chilli Bread -

  • First, cut the bread slices and then roast them otherwise if you first roast the bread and then cut it then it won't be crispy from sides.







  • Make sure that each bread piece is cooked from both sides.






  • Do not add extra salt as soya sauce and green chilli sauce has salt in it.





  • Do not add water to make gravy as bread pieces will soak all the water and become soggy.

Ingredients - 

For tossing bread -

  • 4 - 5 bread slices
  • Oil


For Sauce - 

  • Oil
  • ½ cup diced Onions
  • ½ cup diced Capsicum
  • ½tbsp ginger (paste/finely chopped)
  • ½tbap garlic (paste/finely chopped)
  • Salt as per taste
  • ½ tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • ½tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp green chilli sauce

Directions to follow -

For tossing bread -

  • Cut the bread slices in 9 squares and roast bread pieces in a pan.
  • Once done keep the bread pieces aside to cool down and become crispy.


For sauce -


  • Now, heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add chopped ginger and garlic.
  • After a couple of seconds add diced onions and diced capsicum.
  • Add salt and saute the veggies for a couple of minutes on medium flame.
  • Add Kashmiri red chilli powder in ½ cup water and add it into a pan.
  • Add soya sauce, green chilli sauce, red chilli powder and tomato ketchup in the pan and mix well.
  • Now add bread pieces in the sauce and toss the bread pieces with the sauce.






Your Chilli Bread is ready to serve
